International Conference “Boundary value problems, special functions and fractional calculus” (Gakhov's Conference-90), Minsk, Belarus, February 16-20, 1996

 

International Conference “Boundary value problems, special functions and fractional calculus” was organized by the Belarusian State University. It was dedicated to 90th birthday of academician Fedor Dmitrievich Gakhov (1906-1980). The Conference took place at the Olympic Sport Center “Staiki” nearby Minsk.

In the Conference took part 109 participants from Australia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Sweden and Ukraine, among them Anatoly B. Main directions of the Conference were:

  • Fractional calculus.
  • Problems of analysis and applications.

Content of many reports was connected with the problems investigated in the scientific school on boundary value problems and singular integral equations organized and headed by academeician F.D.Gakhov during more than 20 years in Minsk.
